Transmotec linear actuators are electromechanical components that in difference to our solenoids are used to generate a long stroke under high force but at lower speed. The design consist of a motor and gear train that will rotate a threaded screw with a moving nut attached to a rod. The stroke length is determined by the linear actuators model as well as the speed and force. Our actuators can also be built with potentiometer or hall sensor position feed back. We welcome to tailor or customize your linear actuator to meet the requirements specified in your purchase order.
